After a hiatus to raise her young family, Jane returned to real estate in 1986, where a series of professional advancements led her to help with the opening of Pacific Union's first small Marin office in 1994. Since then Pacific Union's Marin presence has grown exponentially, and now boasts over 200 top Marin agents split between five offices.
Prior to joining Jane, Peter, who has a law degree, was moving forward with his career in international and domestic finance, and large-scale mortgage banking. Recognizing how Peter's professional skills, and personal style could bring him success in real estate sales, Jane encouraged him to join her, so that they could work together as a team.
Today, Peter and Jane complement each other's strengths with a good portion of their business coming from residential sales and major corporations who seek Peter and Jane's expert assistance with their transferees. In addition, Peter represents a number of investor clients who benefit from his regular networking within Pacific Union's Investment Property Division and the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. Peter also specializes in the listing and sale of bank-owned foreclosed properties.
Outside of real estate, Jane enjoys hiking, gardening, and skiing. Peter's sports activities include cycling and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Between them they have served, or continue to serve on the boards of The Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation (KIDDO); Amigos de las Americas, which provides high school students an opportunity to perform public health projects in Latin and South America; Senior Access, which aids Marin County seniors; La Casa de Las Madres, which assists battered women and their families; and the Marin County Human Rights Commission.
